This video made me really happy for a couple reasons. Firstly, it's immediately obvious that RAP4 has listened to the feedback from evaluators, and secondly they've implemented the necessary changes to their entire line of conversion kits very quickly. The reworking of the magwell is a perfect change, and should fix the gripes that people had put forward.
On another interesting note, in this screencap you can see what looks to be an ambidextrous magazine release on the Phenom conversion kit CAD:
Looks like an AK-style magazine release, which is exactly what I had been hoping for. Of course this is all speculation, it could be something entirely different. But the implementation of an AK style release would be perfect for all the kits that have a separation between the magazine well and the grip frame.
