The list of top ten milsim markers continues! On to number 8:
#8: RAP4 RAM Series
Perhaps the coolest paintball markers ever made. The RAM (Real Action Marker) blurred the line between airsoft and paintball. Boasting features previously thought impossible for paintball markers such as shell ejection, bolt lock on an empty magazine, and 1:1 scale of the military weapon they were modeled after from size, weight, even to the way they broke down for cleaning! Many Military outfits adopted them for training purposes, and their popularity (along with their neat handguns) cemented .43 caliber as the most successful alternate paintball size to .68 caliber in recent memory. Unfortunately realism became their downfall when fun hating bureaucrats decided they should be considered “Replica Firearms” and were subsequently banned from import in many countries.
Cost when new: $550
