We use only 1000D Codura. This vest is our entry level vest, and as such, it's not genuine Crye Precision Multicam...but as you say in your review, it looks REALLY close.

ReplyDeleteIt definitely is really close. Having now bought the Multicam TRU pants and jacket, I find the MSG vest's pattern identical to the real Multicam fabric used by TRU-Spec. Yet some genuine Multicam pouches that I added to the vest look different, with a more subdued pattern. It's interesting that even among genuine Multicam fabric there's quite a variation. I now have enough genuine Multicam items vs. Chinese copies to properly make a comparison, and plan on putting up an article soon on the differences and similarities.
